Favourite moment of the day:

I substituted in the children’s Primary at church this morning, as the pianist. The music leader is new to the Primary. She was trying to keep the children’s attention.

“Who can sing like a dog?”

The children were then invited to sing the chosen song like a dog.

“Who can sing like a cat?”

The children next sang the song like a cat.

“Who can sing like a opera singer?”

The children started singing, when, above the crowd, we could all hear L‘s clear voice singing the soprano aria, Der Hölle Rache kocht in meinem Herzen, from The Magic Flute. One of the teachers told him to be quiet. But I was absolutely beaming from behind the piano!
