FAMILY LIVING, To Me From Me

As a Mother’s Day gift, to me from me, each year I learn a new skill.

This year? Cupcakes!

I do not generally eat cupcakes myself – I do not have a sweet-tooth, per se. But I thought these beauties would make gorgeous gifts, to give to other mothers, on their special day:

So, with instruction from my uber-talented sister, Sarah Halloway, I made one dozen flower cupcakes just this morning:

One icing tip, three bowls of frosting, and 30 minutes on Skype later . . . I went from NO skill, to the imitation of skill! (Sarah still holds all skills to be claimed in this arena.)

Happy Mothers Day to me!
