FAMILY LIVING, Satur-day Dad-day

And so it has been for almost six years: Satur-day is Dad-day.

He disciplines the children.

He engages the children.

And the children cannot ask for favors of him without a written proposal.

If you got through that entire proposal, bless your heart.

And bless hers. (Did you notice she asked to sleep on said chaise lounge on a Friday? Friday Mom’s Day? She knows her audience!)

Finally, bless his.

Every. Single. Saturday.

I think dad’s day is brilliant! It’s really sweet to watch your kids when they ask dad for something in they manner he’s taught them to ask. What a precious little family you have! Now out of curiosity after that very thought out letter I’m curious, does E get to sleep on the chaise lounge?

I think E should run for president or at least be an attorney THEN run for president.

Oh, that proposal was fantastic! Sweet E is very good; did she get her night on the chaise lounge?!

Dad Day Saturday sounds brilliant! I just don’t know if my hubby would be super excited about that, since he’s very engaged with the children the rest of the week. But I would surely love it!

    Thanks for sharing. *Loves*
