The children were adorable. And hilarious. This Thanksgiving Day project took A LOT of thought, on their part. Apparently we are not as comfortable listing things we are grateful for as we are listing things we want for Christmas. But, once they got started, their trees filled up brilliantly!
WHAT IF YOU WOKE UP TOMORROW WITH ONLY THE THINGS YOU WERE GRATEFUL FOR TODAY?
We would be left with a space heater, thanks to L. And a bug zapper. Color vision and pomegranate seeds. Air. The bathroom. Mom and Dad (sigh of relief) and “Hevlin Father”. Beautiful.
We would still have our ears, noses, eyes, mouths, hands, fingers, legs, feet, and toes, if J were the one offering thanks.
And Matthew would remain ours, forever.
We would have grammas and grampas, aunts and uncles, teachers and friends, dentists and vaccines (?).
Sisters and brothers.
Snuggling each other.
Our Savior, Jesus.
And … frosting.
“Bug zapper”? L? Too funny.
We are sure thankful for you and your wonderful family!!!

We have the coolest bug zapper probably ever made! Seriously good entertainment.
