A few days ago I saw a podcast episode I wanted to listen to that I thought was entitled: Exercise Intentionally. That sounded perfect for FRIDAY FITNESS AND HEALTH. But when I spent some time today listening to the podcast, it had absolutely nothing to do with exercise. Not at all. After getting through the episode, I looked again at the title. It read: Exercise Intentionality. Very different.

So today, instead of my notes on a podcast, I will share with you two recipes. One healthy(ish) and one less-healthy. Enjoy!

BREAKFAST AVOCADO BREAD

  • 1 piece of sourdough bread, toasted
  • 1/2 avocado, ripe
  • Olive oil, for drizzle
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Scrambled eggs
  • Bacon, cooked

Layer on a plate, in that order. Absolutely delicious.

APPLE CIDER FLOAT

  • Vanilla ice cream
  • Sparkling apple cider
  • Caramel sauce

Put the vanilla ice cream in a mug. Pour, carefully, the apple cider over the ice cream in the mug. Drizzle caramel sauce on top.
